Pension Deduction
Dalhousie pensioners can pay their ADRP dues by a monthly deduction of only $1.66 from their pension. That’s less than a single cup of coffee from your local barista and no heartburn!
To pay your ADRP dues through pension deduction, simply download and print this form, fill it out, sign it, and return it to the email or mailing address indicated on the form for Monthly Dalhousie Pension Deduction.
This method of payment has two main advantages to you and one to ADRP.
- When paying by this method there is no need to remember the annual renewal. Once set up, the deduction will continue until you explicitly inform Retirement Services that you wish to discontinue it.
- If your membership lapses you can lose touch with important issues affecting Dalhousie pensioners and retirees by no longer receiving the ADRP newsletter. The small monthly pension deduction method ensures that a lapse in membership and losing access to important information will not occur.
- The ADRP membership chair will no longer have to send reminder emails and letters to those members who forget to renew their membership.
Annual Payment by Cheque or E-transfer
A handful of new and existing ADRP members pay their dues annually by a cheque or e-transfer in the amount of $20. ADRP members who do not receive a Dalhousie pension need to pay by cheque or e-transfer.
To do so simply download and print the form, fill it out, sign it, and return it to the address at the top of the form. If paying by cheque, mail it with the membership form. If paying by e-transfer, send the payment to treasurer@theadrp.ca.
