"The Art of Birding" at the Museum of Natural History
ADRP member Andy Stadnyk (with others) has led the organization and curated a show called "The Art of Birding", scheduled to open at the Museum of Natural History (1747 Summer Street, Halifax) on September 25th and run until the end of January and possibly into February.
The exhibit includes multiple media images of birds from 21 Nova Scotia birders and artists in the form of photographs, paintings, needle felting, and carvings. Topic specific workshops by the participating artists are planned. Children are welcome and there will be activities them to engage in.
The exhibit is included in Nocturne at the Museum of Natural History (October 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; admission free), with artists onsite.
Look for notices from the Museum at this link for more details.
