Movement is Medicine - Using dance and creativity to move throughout the year

Local dance company Mocean Dance brings free dance programs for older adults.
Moving with Mocean are open dance classes held at the Halifax Central Library. This program is a gentle dance class designed for inclusivity and aimed to create a sense of community in a creative atmosphere. The dance class will awaken your breath connection, mobilize your joints, and bring a little extra movement excitement to your day. Upcoming program dates are Oct 31, Nov 7, 1 4, and 21 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Central Library.
A monthly Coffee & Chat meeting is held in the Truro area on the first Thursday of every month starting at 10 a.m. Until November it will be held in the Alumni Gardens on the Dal-AC campus. Bring your own refreshments as there is no food service provided.
At other times of the year, the group gathers at the Food Court in the Hub Mall, Robie Street. All are welcome!
