Before retirement I was Associate Professor, Dalhousie University and Professor Emeritus, University of Calgary.
During my career I worked on international partnerships in Japan, Africa, Thailand, Finland, and Vietnam. I served as President of the Canadian Association for University Schools of Nursing and the Canadian Nurses Association. I was lead of Tamlyn and Associates.
I live with my husband and our Labrador, Dexter, and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
