The College and University Retiree Associations of Canada /Associations de retraités des universités et collèges du Canada (CURAC/ARUCC) is a not-for-profit federation of retiree organizations at colleges and universities across Canada. It provides a forum for these retiree associations to learn from each other and share best practices. The ADRP was a founding member.
ADRP members are eligible to take advantage of the offers negotiated with CURAC/ARUCC’s affinity partners, which provide special rates on insurance and other products. For more information on these offers, go to Member Benefits. For ADRP members whose membership fee comes from pension deduction, their deduction history as found on the Employee Dashboard on Dal Online serves as the proof of membership that may be required to take advantage of these benefits. ADRP members who do not pay their dues by pension deduction can ask for proof of membership by contacting membership@theadrp.ca.
The annual conference is CURAC/ARUCC’s main event, offering an opportunity to learn and socialize with individuals from across Canada who are now retirees. This informative and fun conference is a well-organized event that includes a welcome reception, workshops and plenary sessions on hot topics, and an awards banquet to honour contributing members. ADRP offers financial support for members to attend (watch for the call for applications each winter).
