Meet Your Board Members
Grace worked in Medical Computing Services and Medical Informatics/Division of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, from 1981 to 2012. Her PhD was funded by the CIHR Health Informatics PhD/Postdoc Strategic Training Program. This program was instrumental in growing the health informatics community of practice in Canada. Dalhousie’s Health Informatics program was formed as a joint offering by the Faculties of Medicine and Computer Science and, in 2002, was the first graduate level program in Canada.
Grace served on the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada (CURAC) board in her role as Chair, Health Care Policy Committee. She enjoys playing bridge and Mah-jong with long-time friends from the Dalhousie community, participates in book clubs, loves traveling, enjoys family gatherings and ADRP social events.
