In 2015 the ADRP established a bursary fund, called the Dalhousie Retirees and Pensioners Bursary, in honour of Carolyn Savoy (a Past President of the ADRP) who had suggested this initiative. Established to assist students in need, this endowment fund now provide a bursary of $1000-$2000 to 2-3 students annually. The bursary goes to a second year student (or higher) enrolled in any undergraduate degree program at Dalhousie.
ADRP continues to make an annual contribution to this bursary fund. As well, a number of ADRP members have made personal donations to the fund. You have two ways to make a donation.

- Go to https://dal.ca and click Donate
- The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow
- Under the Direct your gift category, select Specify a funding area
- In the Search by keyboard space type retire
- When Vice President Student Services – Registrars Office – Dalhousie Retiree and Pensioner Bursary appears click on it
- Then carry on to complete the donation
